Programs

Since 2003, we've been part of a beautiful collaboration between families and community members to create a bright future for the next generation. Check out our variety of programs for students and families below!

KIDS CLUB

Kids Club is a dynamic after school program for elementary students in the northeast Littleton immigrant community. Held twice a week throughout the school year, Kids Club provides a safe space for kids to grow in their faith, receive academic support, and build leadership skills.

WHO: A total of 45 students, grades K-5
WHEN: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 4:00-6:00pm
WHERE: Living Word Tabernacle

FAITH

Picture
Kids encounter the Gospel through the spiritual mentorship of committed weekly volunteers, who help them study and apply the Bible, pray with them, and love them through life's ups and downs.

EDUCATION

Picture
Students are supported academically by faithful, qualified tutors, who help them with homework and provide age-appropriate learning activities and regular reading practice time.

LEADERSHIP

Picture
Students engage in meaningful activities and practical opportunities - such as serving snack, leading prayer, and reading with others - to learn how to become servant leaders in their homes, schools, and community.

L.I.F.E.

Leadership in Faith and Education

Middle school is a critical time for kids to be plugged in with positive role models, secure relationships, and spiritual support. That's why we love connecting with these vibrant students through our weekly, after school L.I.F.E. program, where we truly begin to see them blossom in their relationship with the Lord and in setting and achieving goals.

WHO: Up to 20 students, grades 6-8
WHEN: Wednesdays, 4:15-6:00pm
WHERE: Living Word Tabernacle

FAITH

Picture
Students dive deeper into scripture, learning about God’s incredible love for them and for the world. They grapple with real world issues through the lens of the Gospel and are directed to the hope that only comes through Christ.

EDUCATION

Picture
Our middle schoolers are becoming more independent as students but still need regular accountability to complete all their assignments. Our committed volunteers help students check their grades, stay organized, and understand their homework.

LEADERSHIP

Picture
Students are taught the qualities of a biblical, servant leader, including: advocacy, compassion, humility, courage, and integrity. They have opportunities to earn a summer adventure trip and to represent North Littleton Promise at events in the community.

Summer Programs

WHY SUMMER?
It's not uncommon for kids in the northeast Littleton immigrant community, where both parents work long hours to make ends meet, to spend their summer hours under the care of an older cousin or video games and to experience the "summer slide" - a regression in academic progress due to the extended gap of time without reading and writing.

HOW DO WE HELP?

North Littleton Promise has flipped the switch on this trend for our students by providing active and engaging summer programs where kids continue to learn and apply knowledge in a safe environment. Our summer programs are led by an incredible team of summer staff - many of whom are North Littleton Promise alumni themselves - as well as community volunteers.

Soccer Program

For many of our North Littleton Promise alumni, their fondest memories and longest-lasting impact are a result of participating on our soccer teams. The social dynamic of being on a team combined with purposeful discipleship by committed coaches has provided an incredible opportunity to develop faith, discipline, sportsmanship, teamwork, and leadership.

Through the service of volunteer coaches, we currently host four teams in the Littleton Soccer league. Students must be engaged in one of our after school programs in order to participate on a North Littleton Promise team.

WHEN: Fall and spring seasons
WHERE: Designated soccer fields in the Littleton community

Family Engagement

North Littleton Promise is dedicated to investing in families, walking alongside parents as they raise their children with love, tenacity, and courageous goals. We are grateful for the privilege of loving their kids and sharing life with the whole family. Our heart is to serve parents with the same priorities that we do their children, seeing visible growth in the areas of faith, learning, and leadership.

Our parents are highly engaged in activities and events throughout the year, from serving snack in our after school program, to cheering at soccer games, coordinating food and entertainment at events, interviewing job candidates, speaking at partners meetings, participating in our weekly moms' Bible study, and more!

FAITH

Picture
Under the gifted leadership of a local pastor's wife, moms meet weekly during our after school program to study the Bible, pray, and encourage one another in the walk of faith.

EDUCATION

Picture
We currently partner with the Life Center to connect our families with high quality English classes, and we offer periodic topical workshops in both Spanish and English to support our families.

LEADERSHIP

Picture
The moms of North Littleton Promise are an inspiring example of servant leadership, and we are purposeful about creating opportunities for them to use their voice and influence in the community.
