Javier's Story
Javier grew up in NLP, starting as a shy third-grader and is now finishing his senior year of high school. Over nine years, he has found a place to belong, building confidence, friendships, and a deeper understanding of his faith.

As summer staff, Javi stepped into leadership, becoming someone the younger kids look up to. Through the LEAD program, he reads with our elementary students each month, creating meaningful moments like those that once shaped him. He loves seeing the kids discover how the Gospel connects to their lives. Javi has developed a love for teamwork and collaboration, recognizing the value each person brings.

“NLP feels like home,” he shared, a reflection of the transformation we are grateful to witness.

Claudia's Story
Claudia is a mother of two elementary-aged girls and has been part of the North Littleton Promise community for many years. She is a leader among other moms in our community. She has seen her daughters grow in many ways through our programs.

She shared: “One of my greatest joys within the program is seeing my daughters grow in faith: They close their eyes in prayer, give thanks for their food, and joyfully say that Jesus loves us all.”

At the end of our spring programming, we asked our
elementary students how they view God.

One response from a 2nd grade girl beautifully captured the heart of ffaith. She described God as Friend, Father, King, Lord, and Savior and expressed that relationship through a heartfelt drawing.

At NLP, faith is more than a subject we teach; it is a
core value that shapes hearts, minds, and character.
